Privacy information

I’m Annemari Ruthven, trading as Annemari Ruthven Photography. I’m responsible for the personal information described here. For privacy questions or requests, email info@annemariruthven.com.

The forms ask for your name, email address and message, and record the type of photography you’re interested in. Wedding enquiries can also include an optional wedding date and selected package. You may choose to share other details in your message.

I use these details to reply, discuss your photography plans and take steps you request towards a possible booking. For booking enquiries, this processing is needed to take steps at your request before entering a contract. For other questions, I rely on my legitimate interest in responding to messages about my photography business.

Netlify hosts the website and processes form submissions. Enquiries are stored in Netlify Forms, with email notifications sent to info@annemariruthven.com. I use Microsoft 365 for business, with Outlook, to receive and reply to these emails.

Hosting services also process technical request information needed to deliver the website and protect the service. I rely on my legitimate interest in running a functioning, secure website for this processing.

Netlify and Microsoft operate internationally and may process information outside Norway or the European Economic Area (EEA). Their privacy and data-processing information explains processing locations and transfer arrangements. Microsoft provides EU Standard Contractual Clauses under its business-service data-processing terms. The location of mailbox data and the relevant transfer arrangements depend on the services and account configuration. You can contact me for information about the safeguards that apply to your information.

If your enquiry doesn’t lead to a booking, I’ll delete the enquiry and related correspondence within six months of our last contact.

This applies to the enquiry stored in Netlify Forms and related emails in Microsoft 365. If you book, information needed to carry out the booking, manage any related claims or meet applicable legal record-keeping requirements is handled separately from this unbooked-enquiry period.

You can ask for access to your personal information, corrections to inaccurate details or deletion where the rules allow it. Depending on the circumstances, you can also ask me to restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or provide a portable copy of information you supplied.
